01:14 pm - Voting Equation???
In my Intro to American Politics class, there may be a question on the next test (it's Tuesday) about somehing called the "voting equation". My professor showed this in class, but he's currently in the hospital after quadruple bypass surgery, and our TA doesn't know it either.

Is anyone even vaguely familar with this or know where we can find it? Your help is appreciated.

(I remember it involved adding something if you were in favor of abortion and doing something involving foreign policy. It was to determine whether or not you were voting for Clinton or Dole, I think.)

Being a GTA in political science I feel pretty safe in telling you that-you shouldn't worry so much about a question that might be on a test if your GTAs don't even know the answer. As to your question, from what you've said it sounds like a voting equation is a series of questions which can identify your political ideology and then match you to a candidate or party that is most representative to your views. There are all sorts of these all over the internet for various elections.
